Attend Gala/Make Contribution

Please join us at our 2006 Gala, Saluting New York Visionaries, where we will recognize and thank the leaders who are propelling the Lower Manhattan-to-Jamaica/JFK Rail Link project. The rail link is a transportation investment that will not only contribute to both Lower Manhattan and Jamaica’s economic revitalization, but will increase the region’s economic prosperity and improve the quality of life for those who live and work in New York.

We are pleased to honor John E. Zuccotti, Co-Chairman of Brookfield Properties and Chairman of the Real Estate Board of New York, a stellar civic leader, business proponent with the long view of the City’s potential, and a guiding force in rebuilding Lower Manhattan; and Congressman Gregory W. Meeks, US Representative from the 6th District of New York, a stalwart leader in Jamaica’s recovery and growth, and a strong  supporter of the work to develop a vibrant, mixed-use community in the AirTrain/Jamaica Station area.

These honorees and the distinct communities they represent are united in the effort to promote the Lower Manhattan-to-Jamaica/JFK Rail Link, a strategic infrastructure investment that will have far-reaching impact on the region’s connectivity, growth and sustainability.

We would be delighted to have you with us as we salute the honorees.
